I have been co-owner of HCPA since 2010. I studied Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Florida and graduated with both a Masters and a Specialist Degree in 2001. Before becoming a counselor in private practice in 2003. I was a bilingual teacher, as well as a counselor in nonprofit agencies. I have experience with counseling addictions with teens and adults as well. My current focus is on Marriage Counseling and helping couples improve their relationship skills while addressing past trauma. My training has been focused on psychology from a systems and family perspective, and I especially enjoy working with military families. I am a military spouse married 29 years and have two young adult children.
